Since NARI is a research institute, journals assumes greater importance. The library subscribes to the following 46 journals. Besides, it is a member of the ERMED (Electronic Resources in Medicine) e-journal consortium. It has access to journals subscribed by all the ICMR institutes individually through an online database JCCC@ICMR. The library also bound old volumes of journals into book form and keep those for posterity. It has a collection of about 1000 such bound volumes.
